I didn't say he was a great person. Personally, I think the Mara's and Rooney's are one who sucks the peniss that have WAY too much league influence, but I digress.

I've talked about Kroenke's move to LA since 2010. St. Louis was always a pawn in his scheme.

But he's building a palace, has deep pockets and generally stays out of football decisions. For those reasons, he'll attract high profile people and will likely, at some point, win big.

I think that as long as they build a team around him, and their current talent is way overstated, they can attract a free agent QB in 2019.

This is a job exactly for a guy like Doug Marrone. A team in transition that needs to be coached up, well built and well disciplined. The next coach would take over in 2019 or 2020 and they're off to the races.

What even more interesting is that the NFC is in major transition. Arians may or may not be around much longer and they need a QB. Seattle, outwardly, is in a slight decline and Pete is 65 years old. The 49ers are shit.

Now is the time to build.
