I don't think it's an accident that Stanton wore that thing for a few weeks and has shown almost no ill effects, whereas Heyward still has that thing on, and, unsurprisingly, has struggled getting busted in. That flap has to affect his vision

Regarding the trade:

It was a necessary risk. It certainly looks worse now that Shelby is pitching reasonably well, we still have a black hole in right, Walden is hurt, and we are pitching-depleted, but the first rounder that will come from him denying the QO is a nice way to blunt some of that risk, especially if they target a fast riser.

The hr Heyward hit yesterday is an example of what the guy should be doing regularly (getting the barrel out and pulling it with some fire).

The talent is there, obviously. Worse though that it appears to be a mental issue from the Braves moron ass hitting him leadoff.
