We've got him next year with a $25M cap number. No way to really get out of it even if you wanted to.

After next season we could cut him with a $9M dead money number but it would save us $15M in cap savings.

Why can’t we just chalk it up to a bad year penalty wise, with a little extra shit from the refs? He was a solid player at Jacksonville and he’s been pretty damn good in pass protection. Several people on this team have had a down year. Let’s give him another season and hope he gets it fixed. Hell, we might as well, we can’t cut him anyway.

I am giddy with how well we played and I'm in a fantastic mood. But please don't tell me how well Taylor played after he erased 4 points off our score for that needless block in the back and should have cost us a possession for the false start on 3rd and 5.

I've pasted this before but it apparently went mostly unnoticed.

He is on the team for at least two more years. His 3rd season on the team (2025) guarantees in March of THIS offseason.

He committed a penalty and for some that is unacceptable and they equate him to Jordan Black or Cam Erving. Also fits their Veach sucks mindset. He’s not Mitchell Schwartz, but he played a good game.
