Damn, I can't remember his name either. I think it started with an S, but I'm not positive.

There are a couple people here, don't know who, but I know there were a few.

That's the way I recall it as well. A culmination of disagreements that led to pledge of defeating her no long how it took. So much for that....

I'm just glad I was an admin of the football side and not the mess that was the political side of things. Which I guess made me an admin of the Park, and not the Pen...
"Mess" is a polite way of describing the pen.

Jawaba (or Jaws as he was called) is who you are thinking of.

They tried to do up their own little board for a while, but when there are only a dozen or so left and you've dished it out with each other for a couple of years, the smack talk gets pretty weak - no matter how good you are.

Then again, there was a DrCool too. He was a raiderette fan that got kicked around a lot. He was VERY outspoken. He did post here a few times, but tried to wade in blasting away at everyone that moved and didn't survive the pile-on that ensued.
No, those aren't familiar. It was yet another guy. I remember talking to you about him. He posted there a lot.

Jawaba is right. I remember him trying to "sell" the board after it was completely comatose.

Wow old memories that this brought up. Come to think of it I think I've been lurking the chiefsboards for almost 8 years now. Started out as a way to get chiefs info back when I was trapped in steeler country in college. I'd almost forgotten about Teicher's forum. Man I loved getting the 'inside' information back then . I remember back when the star got overwhelmed with the spammers and trolls. Nothing but garbage for 4 or more pages. For some reason there's one troll/bronco or raider fan that's popped in my head reading this. Don't remember anymore what he did nor why. But Lee Jackson was forever branded an ass for the crap he pulled. But then again I doubt anyone remembers that from back then.

I remember things getting quiet back in the day but I had forgotten about all the bannings. It's been interesting watching the planet evolve from the begining. Hell I even remember pigskin park. But then again I'm just a lurker. Thanks for bringing up some old memories.

Me too, but I wasn't there very long. I remember vividly things that happened in 1953. Things like the Greenlease kidnapping case. I had just learned to read and found it captivating. But the old Star board is getting fuzzy.
