Phil, when are you gonna buy CP from Kyle?

Seriously.

I mean, it's pretty obvious he has "other irons in the fire," so what's going on behind the scenes? Come on, talk to us....man.

I don't post enough anymore to keep up with these things....

I post on a semi-regular basis at 3 other boards and have visited countless others and nothing,I mean nothing compares to the Planet in my opinion, but then again I'm never here once the noon games kick-off and usually don't check in until the Sunday night game is over.

I don't think the planet needs the likes of myself,Phil or BRC to have ownership because again in my opinion we're too close to the action if you will.I belong to another board with an owner alot like Kyle(he pokes his head in from time to let everyone know he's okay)and I think the community is better for it.

It's just my .02

Eh, he pushes the envelope, just like most of us. I suspect that sort of a comment from him was TIC....heck, he may have even added a, for him, rare smiley....

The difference is he's damn funny---very entertaining, most of the time. Your bitter, depressing, and delusional self-pity and victimization mindset on the other hand....meh, not so much.

I feel the same way over on Patriots Planet. I would run some of the upgrades myself, but I am not a DB guy either and I am a little concerned about how it would go. And we are on VB 2.2.8. I've hacked in a few mods to get it closer to VB3+ but a lot of features I have to wait for.

Interesting, for some reason I thought you were ahead of us on VB levels.

morphius ought to pay closer attention.

WAY behind. The board is stable and fast most of the time, so that is good. I think the biggest thing we miss is the Rep system. I could install something similar, but I have been staying away from hacks that modify the database, hoping that we can be upgraded soon.

That is painful indeed.

Though if I might suggest it, you may want to stay away from the rep system, it is a big pain in the butt sometimes.

I am sure there is some history here that I am not aware of. On it's face that statement wouldn't be a problem. I suppose it depends on context.
