Prewitt has played FS and SS single high, is a good tackler and an enforcer.
We need our own Kam Chancellor and this guy is as close as it gets. Would love the pick.

Like the top 4 but Anderson can be a bit too "Avery" for me.

Yep. Anderson is exactly what his dad was, big play or nothing generally. Not bad for a guy you can bring in as a #3 or #4 or something, but I'm not sure he's a guy you're going to add to a roster hoping he's going to save you as a #1 or #2.

Great draft even though it gross to continue using first round picks on ol...for a joke like Smith
I'd take white (wr), if there, over anyone

Bowe (if he restructures), Avant (re-sign), Albert Wilson, DeAnthony Thomas, and add Dres Anderson and Phillip Dorsett. That's some explosion right there. Quote:
And I don't look at this draft as "continuing to use first round picks on the offensive line." Fisher was basically a consensus top three pick that year, to go along with another in Joeckel. Just not a top heavy draft in a year where we have the first pick. However, we all know that there are serious holes on the offensive line and they need to be addressed regardless of who our QB is, whether it's Smith, Bray, Murray, Daniel or whoever. RT and LG are serious priorities and where the Chiefs are picking, a guy like La'el Collins is as good a pick as they could possibly make regardless of need. When you factor in the "need" situation, it's a great pick. Personally, I wouldn't mind the following players: Eddie Goldman, DT; Florida State Danny Shelton, DT; Washington PJ Williams, CB; Florida State Kevin White, WR; West Virginia Trae Waynes, CB; Michigan State (reminds me of Dale Carter actually) La'el Collins, OL; LSU I'd take Brandon Schreff as well, but I don't think he's going to be available. I'm not as high on either Jaleen Strong or Devante Parker as White, and I do think that Anderson has a chance to be as good as those guys at the next level. |

Sac's 2013 Chiefs mock draft.
1st overall pick-Geno Smith. Was eventually taken in the 2nd round, and so far has a career QB rating of 71. 2nd pick-Kevin Minter. Played 2 total defensive snaps his rookie year in Arizona. As of the end of this season, he has 25 total tackles, no sacks, no interceptions. 3rd pick-Barrett Jones. Was selected 113th overall, and has not started a game. Has seen action in 3 total games. 4th pick-John Simon. 4 career tackles, 0 sacks, 0 forced fumbles. Lasted less than a year with Baltimore after getting drafted. 5th pick-Oday Aboushi. Probably the best pick so far lmao. Has started 7 total games with the Jets. 6th pick-Joe Kruger. Has played for 4 teams, mostly practice squad stints. 7th pick-Nick Kasa. 1 catch for 9 yards in 2 seasons. 8th pick-Rex Burkhead 9 total carries so far in his career. |

I'd still have drafted Geno. Picked in the 2nd Round in 2013, closed out the 2014 season with the only perfect QB rating of the year. Minter, who was selected in the 2nd Round by the Cardinals, actually has 44 tackles and a sack this year, appearing in 16 and starting five games of the 2014 season. He was actually pencilled in as the starter prior to the 2014 season, but suffered a pectoral injury in the first game of the preseason (though he did appear in all 16 regular season games). Barrett Jones, who was selected by the Rams in the 4th round, has had bad luck with injuries. In 2013, he had listfranc surgery and sat out the season. (Which everyone knew about prior to the draft.) In 2014, he suffered a back injury and decided to have surgery to repair it and was out for the year. John Simon, who was selected by the Ravens in the 4th Round, is on the Texans and has appeared in 11 games this year with 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Oday Aboushi, who was selected by the Jets in the 5th Round, is now the starter at left guard (started the last 10 games of 2014). Joe Kruger, who was selelcted in the 7th Round, is on the practice squad for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nick Kasa, selected in the 6th Round by the Raiders, has appeared in 16 games in 2014, starting one. Rex Burkhead, selected in the 6th Round by the Bengals, suffered a hamstring injury in early 2013. He has appeared in 9 games in 2014. So, in summary, this draft yielded the following: Eight players, six of which finished the season on their teams active, 53 man rosters. (Would have been seven if not for the injury to Jones.) One on a practice squad. Compare that to the Chiefs actual draft: Eric Fisher - starter Travis Kelce - starter Knile Davis - significant contributor Nico Johnson - released by team, on Bengals active roster Sanders Commings - IR Eric Kush - 3 games in two years, no games in 2014 Braden Wilson - Out of football Mike Catapano - 4 tackles in 15 games in 2013, IR 2014 Eh... |

Your draft would have drafted a backup QB with the first overall pick, a backup middle linebacker with the 2nd pick, an injured backup interior lineman with the 3rd pick, a backup pass rusher averaging less than a sack a season with the 4th pick, a starting guard (albeit mediocre) with the 5th pick, a practice squad linebacker with the 6th pick, a backup tight end with 1 career catch with the 7th pick, and a running back with single-digit carries with the final pick.
This would have gone down as one of the worst drafts in individual franchise history. 2 fringe starters (if you consider Geno anything remotely close to a starter), a handful of backups (many due to consistent injuries), and a few players who have no right being on an active 53 man roster. |

Weird. But keep posting this good stuff. Makes you look super smart. BTW, since you are inclined to criticism here on Draft Planet, where's your 2013 mock? Who did you have us taking? |

Your best selection in that entire draft was the Jets left guard in the 4th round. I literally could have taken names out of a hat and done better than what you shit out. This is consistent with your mock drafts. They're absolutely atrocious and have no merit taking up bandwidth. |

You seem especially focused on 2013 and seem to think that yours was balls out. Let's see it. And I eagerly await your 2014 mock. A guy that can pick dudes out of a hat and have them be better than 7 of 8 guys in a single draft still on NFL teams 53 man rosters sounds quite impressive. I'm giddy with anticipation in viewing your mock - both the 2013 and your upcoming 2014! |
