Every team that has won their playoff matchup has had the better QB. Unless you have an elite defense the better QB is more often than not gonna win the matchup. It's not rocket science.

Our defense did was it was supposed to do - eliminate the big play and the game-changing mistake.

Crucial dropped passes by Travis Kelce and Albert Wilson, Alex Smith being sacked twice on third and long, a personal foul on Kelce at the end of a failed passing play, and a botched 2-point conversion late in the 4th quarter because of an Eric Fisher hold on James Harrison. And you think the loss is mostly Alex Smith's fault?

I'm not sure that it's time to move on, but I would strongly consider drafting a Watson or Mahomes if they were there at 27.

You know I get this but it seems the successful franchises have someone of authority who recognizes a dynamic that has mazimized and rather than wait for more failure to be comfortable with making decisions just rip the bandaid off and reload. They approach it more like: If you aren't part of the solution (winning it all) you are the problem.
