Which drugs have you used recreationally?

There’s a debate in DC right now that’s got me a bit curious about the people’s drug use.

I’m going to play fast and loose on what is considered a drug and how they’re grouped/separated. If you have tried any of these options, even once, please note it in the poll options.

Also, feel free to discuss anything drug related as non-politically as possible.

Who's the 1 vote for Ketamine?

I did it once and walked to a concert from downtown KC to the River Market

I still crack up thinking about it. I felt like I had no control over my body movements at all

I envision myself slow-mo walking like Pacheco runs, just limbs flailing everywhere

It was great though

Everything I did was from the ages of 14-21. That doesn't count nicotine, alcohol or weed.

Yeah, that's another huge reason I avoid street drugs now. Everything is getting cut with fentanyl an it's almost always instant death, especially if they're cutting it with coke or meth.

We bought, and even distributed, some meth back in the day that was cut with heroin. It was a bad, bad time all around. Not inclined to talk about the details other than to say "it's not worth it".

I did coke watching Cocaine Bear.

It's really too expensive to get into it but I like it. I think the movie was exaggerated.

I have some 1000mg cannabis infused gummies gets you high as ****.

Since my Hiatal hurnia surgery I've been able to breath no problems anymore so I said **** it and smoke some weed. I just don't ever want to smoke cigarettes again.

Unrelated to that I recently overdosed on my psych meds and was saved but am doing much better now. That was not recreational though. I think cocaine makes me feel better than my psych meds but I'm on new psych meds and feeling much better and have to keep it that way.

For me, it was 14 to about 28 or 29 for the hard stuff.

Since I had kids (at age 28) I've done coke twice and I haven't done meth or LSD at all.

So for me now it's pretty much nicotine and weed with the occasional drink or shroom trip.

It took 35 years for me and my doctor to finally find a treatment regimen that "works" for me. Like I said, I've easily taken 3 dozen psych drugs over my life.

None of them have worked for me the way marijuana does but at least now, they're not turning me into a zombie or something.

The Air Force kind of put a damper on doing anything, although I smoked weed a couple of times and never got drug tested. By the time I got out, I was just kind of over all of that stuff. Plus I knew that if I got back into it....there wasn't going to be a reason to stop.

Now I'll just eat an edible and then regret all of the food I'm going to eat before I pass out.

Yeah, we never cut ours either. Usually we could get it locally so we knew where it came from. But one time - just one time - we tripped it to Waterloo to a biker bar to buy some. It was pinkish and we didn't think anything of it, at least not until our first friend landed in the ICU.
