I think that Taylor will be okay. Collinsworth screwed him on opening night and made him a target. He didn't deserve near all of the penalties that he got. But that died down as the year progressed and he improved as well. I don't know that he'll ever live up to the contract that he got. But I don't think that he's going to be the disaster at right tackle that he looked like for a while either. I would say that Smith will be gone and Morris will compete for the start at left tackle with a cheap vet free agent and the left side will be okay as well.

He's been good all season. Just had too many penalties. No lineman is perfect. Occasionally they get beat but He's solid.

He and Smith both deserve immense credit, the whole OL really. I don’t understand how or why things changed, but they aren’t in the Super Bowl had they not improved accordingly.

Nobody ever thinks their OL is good enough but ours is DAMN good, especially when Donovan Smith is healthy.

I don't disagree, but Taylor had a challenging season, I don't think you can deny that. I think the penalty shit got in his head, and he had to rework his first step in pass pro, leading to some protection issues midseason. Interior line had some weird struggles at times this year, too - Tre had a few rough games. They weren't bad, but they also weren't what they've been so far this posteason, IMO.

I just don't get how the OL as much or more than any other group "flipped the switch".

Was it this crazy intense laser focus players say Mahomes brings to the playoffs rubbing off on the whole unit? I'm not sure what else.

Just feels like guys took it up about five notches and boom, all the sudden all our signings look good.

I dont usually believe in good loses, but they've been a different team since the Raiders Christmas game. Something must've flipped internally for them after that beating.
