Does the big FA O-Line signings you see today make you feel better about the fact that the Chiefs will be paying (barring a restructure) him $25 mil. per year the next couple years.

Because it doesn't make me feel better. I don't think his performance is worth $25 million per year the next 2 years. Do you?
Would paying him $20 million/yr over the next 3 years make you feel better if it came at the cost of the 2023 Lombardi?

Because with the money we found by pushing that deal out, we were able to get guys who were instrumental in that trophy.

This is such a disingenuous way to look at things.

No, I will never regret the deal we gave him. Because he was a monster in the playoffs when we needed him and he signed a contract that allowed us to bring in good players to supplement the defense.

The dumb money guards have been getting actually does make me feel better about Taylor's deal. Especially since there is no way they are paying Trey Smith now. They should be planning on replacing both Creed and Smith.

Do not pay Creed or Trey Smith...pay for a LT. C and G are not big money positions in an offense like the Chiefs.

I don't like either set of numbers (2 for $25 next two or 3 for $30) to be honest. It's not so much a Taylor issues specifically as it is what we are paying Taylor for consistent to his value.

But I can acknowledge what we ultimately ended up paying him this year (via cap hit), we did not get cheated. Whether we get 'cheated' the next 2 years, remains to be seen.

I didn't like the deal at the time and I don't feel any better about it now, but believe me I hope he proves me wrong going forward.

And yes, I realize he played well in the playoffs. But as I stated above, so did MVS and no one was clamoring for him to stay. We wanted him to go because he could. The bottom line is we are 'stuck with' Taylor for at least the next 2 years.

I genuinely hope he balls out these next 2 years and proves me wrong.

Again, we are paying him an ave. annual of $20 mil. The cap minipulation is outside of what his ave. annual value. We are way overpaying Thuney this year if you look at Cap hit alone... You should start liking the deal, because it was a good one.

Dude had a really good year hijacked by Collinsworths dumb ass that lead to unfairly being targeted most of the regular season. Look at his postseason play when the refs didn't get involved...

Jawaan is gonna be Pro Bowl caliber next year.

He should highly motivated to reverse the narrative around his name and I think it’s gonna show on the field. But yeah, he was a good blocker last year despite the penalty issues.

I might be the only one, but what exactly is Time to Pressure? It seems like Taylor is at the top, but is that the amount of seconds before he gives up pressure?

It says that Moses gave up the 4th longest time to pressure. To me that seems odd as I would have thought it would be 4th shortest.

It makes sense.

It takes a long time after the snap for him to give up pressure, giving him the 4th longest time to pressure.

If he gave up pressure quickly, they’d say he had the 4th shortest time to pressure.
