Broke down and settled for this one.

Western Digital Scorpio WD3200BEVT 320GB

Of course, I am highly temped to put this in my laptop and take the 160gb from that and put it in my ps3 as well. No way of know if it is compatible though.

Also, with this size of HDD I may go ahead and install Linux just for the hell of it. Is Yellowdog the best version or have others surpassed it now?

Why would you want to use Linux to play DVDs?

You wouldn't. Im saying that you don't get to choose what to boot to. You automatically boot to Linux every time. Therefore if you want to use the PS3's OS you have to wait like 5 minutes....

You can switch it to make the Game OS the default again. From the X-media bar, under System Settings, there is a Default System...set that back to PS3, or leave it as Other OS to keep booting to Linux.

Just started playing Bioshock last week. Wow, what a game. How the hell did I miss this gem? The game reminds me EXACTLY of Deus Ex (the first one, not the shitty sequel).

Also, I got Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, just because I love wasting about 1 1/2 hours trying to get through the World Cup with either the Netherlands, Belgium or the U.S.A. It's a fun challenge, even though the game cheats like a mother ****er in the latter part of the tournament.

Damn, PES has the World Cup?

I don't get why FIFA cant have a game that includes everything, like the Champions League, or the CONCACAF Champions League
