CP Mock Draft V2

I want to run another draft. It will be either one or two rounds. Post in here if you'd like to be randomly assigned a team, and if you'd like to vote for one or two rounds put that too.

Obviously to make it through two rounds we will have to hustle through this thing. If we don't quite finish, no big deal.

The Patriots had a couple other players that they were considering here that would fit larger needs, but they didn't expect this guy to be on the board still either. This is a luxury pick, but they feel that he is the best back in the draft and as great as their offense is, if you add in a legitimate back to it, it will be unstoppable.

With the 23rd pick of the draft, the Patriots select Chris "Beanie" Wells, RB Ohio State

Also, if there is anyone who wants to trade out of the end of this round, the Patriots will consider a trade sending 2 of their seconds for the back end of this round.

Very happy to be back in the first round, the Patriots select Vontae Davis, CB Illinois.

Even though the Pats signed Leigh Bodden and Shawn Springs this offseason, they look to get younger in the secondary. Vontae Davis is a physical freak who will provide great athleticism to the secondary, and will give the Patriots options.

Dolphins are on the clock.

With the 25th pick, the Miami Fightin' Tuna select Percy Harvin, WR, Florida.

Wideout is someting the Dolphins need and they get a player that can spread the field and drops to them because of the positive drug test. Parcells will crack the whip and Harvin will do what he is supposed to be. Plus he will stay in Florida which can't hurt.

Puff, puff, pass.
