This game's over. Two pretty decent opportunities to mount a decent inning and our offense shits the bed again. If you don't get Scherzer early, you aren't getting him. At the end of the season when the Royals are knocked out of playoff contention, the first question that needs to be asked of Yost is, "Why do you allow such shitty offensive players on a team that you feel should contend?"

GMDM is the one responsible for the players on the team. although i still generally don't like Ned's lineups.

Moose really missed that 94 MPH in his hot zone, no doubt. What happened after the Willingham doink to the next 3 batters is pretty much what I expected, though...you know, watching this team every day.

It's not his fault that except Gordon and Sal they're all a bunch of raging pussies under pressure. You can't find that out until you get actual pressure.

Hopefully this team is like the 74/75 teams who just need a few more pieces and some seasoning to put it all together. And cut Moose, Butler, Aoki and Infante.
