SNR is an ok guy, don't get me wrong ... but he's about as bad as Clay when it comes to Chiefs football talk. Just awful. You guys really have no room to talk after your Geno Smith monstrosity offseason.

So that's reason enough to hate him. That and how he thinks he's awesome with that shimmy he does after every little dink and dunk catch.

Draft g gadgets is just bad practice in general. At best their impact is pretty small, they're never worth a 2nd contract. Name 5 gadget players that had a big impact in the league. Hell, name 1. Sproles maybe? And has any team ever signed him to a 2nd contract?

DAT is better than DMC. Reid and Dorsey got him in what round? 4? He's every bit as good as DMC.

I get stuff wrong all the time just like any average football fan, but more often than not you can read a take of mine I once wrote and see that I wasn't too far off. And yes, even you get your shit wrong from time to time, Hootie. Football AND baseball. |

never going to be realistic
QBOTF simply do not grow on trees. Drafting the guy who went 39th #1 is ridiculous. Over the course of the entire Dorsey/Reid regime, they have literally had no other options to upgrade the QB position any better than Alex Smith. The best QB prospect drafted in the Reid/Dorsey era? uhhhhhhh Blake Bortles? Fine. Teddy Bridgewater. Ok. Are we really going to be mad about missing out on a guy who projects to be, oh I don't know, Philip Rivers if he hits his absolute ceiling? Because last I checked, Mr. Rivers hasn't really won anything important and according to this board, year in and year out, it's Super Bowl championship ... waste of time. |

You're not being logical.
Would we be better off with Dee Fjord on this roster, or Teddy Bridgewater? Be logical.

Dee Ford. I have a feeling he's going to be pretty ****ing good. Not basing it on anything more than a gut feeling. Honestly, I have watched maybe 3 NFL games of Bridgewater so I might be off base, but I just really don't see it. I think he'll prove to be a flash in the pan.

Let's see....yesterday I saw Teddy throw a TD pass in a spot that Alex literally has NEVER thrown in two years in KC...and probably in the last 4 years knowing him.
Meanwhile Dee Fjord has as many sacks as broken ribs. You go with that gut feeling though.

Making an excuse for Teddy Bridgewater just because he's only one counterexample is the kind of shit that has led to such an atrocious record of QBs in Kansas City. And that's pretty poor arguing even for you, Hootie. There's a hole in your argument about the Chiefs in Alex Smith, so you shit on it by calling it Phillip Rivers even though you have no ****ing clue about what Teddy Bridgewater could be (and that includes what his ceiling is). The fact that the best you can do is "insult" Teddy by calling him Philip Rivers goes to show that being impatient about getting your longterm QB situation fixed in one offseason when there are no decent options available is no way to operate. |
