Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.


Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?



Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Academy Sports had 10% off this weekend. They were also giving out gift cards for S&W purchases of the AR, Shield, and SD pistol. One manager told me the M&P 2.0 was not included.

Came back the next day and the M&P 2.0 was marked $500 from $530. Also scored the 10% off and to my surprise. A different manager hooked me up with a $75 gift card.

Took a four hour bullpen school this morning. It involved barricade shooting, run & gun, weak hand transitions, a lot of malfunction drills, rifle to pistol transitions, and qualifications. It was a lot of fun. I shot a 92% at qualification time. I can carry this beauty on duty now. Still waiting on my suppressor (6 1/2 months now).

Also shot the M&P 2.0. The trigger is pretty sweet. Don't ask for a better picture as my house lighting sucks for pictures.
