Is Kansas City ashamed of the Chiefs??

So last night I was watching TV and they had a commercial on for "Come Visit Kansas City". The commercial higlights all the neat stuff in KC, including two mentions of the Royals...I've seen these commercials over the years and they NEVER mention the Chiefs...now, I recognize that it's a summer promotional thing, but damn, last I saw the Football season starts before the end of summer...

It just seems strange to me that over and over again they do NOT mention the Chiefs, but they DO mention the Royals...

...aaaaand I'm done pooping...

I get the homesick angle and maybe I'll experience some of that, but I'm keeping the Royals. I honestly think that Pioli, Cassel, and Crennel assassinated my fandom. Anger, excitement, envy, pride...I feel nothing. A Chiefs SB run () would be incredible for the city and fans though, so I'll always root for that.

Yeah. What, people are scared to support their favorite team? This the kind of shit that makes up a bandwagonner. Grow a set of balls.

It's funny people act like the Royals weren't horrible for 30 years 20 of it or so they weren't even trying to win.

The Chiefs are not worthy of my defense. And if you don't live in KC and you go around sporting colors, you WILL be defending them at one turn after the other.

It's tiresome.

Wish I knew what Chiefs team you're talking about, because this new group is certainly worthy of a spirited defense.

I wanna see someone make up a commercial like the sunny vale retirement communities from trailer park boys 9

Just sub out for Chiefs, moldy dogs, premium parking spaces, affordable drinks, and a chance to scream Chiefs at the end of the national anthem (before the PC people have a fit and stop that tradition when renaming the Chiefs to the wolfs to be less offensive)

The Royals have actually accomplished something in the last 40 years...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Didn't Denver win their first SB after getting swept by KC?...
