Chiefs Organization to Attempt World record of Loudest Crowd Noise 10/13 against OAK
The Chiefs Announced Tonight that they are going to Attempt to set the world record for crowd Noise week 6 against the Oakland Raiders. The record is currently set at 131.6 DBz and that could change Sunday night in Seattle as they host the 49ers.

I for one am Pumped that I could become a world record holder.

I have been at Arrowhead when it was EXTREMELY rockin, and I just don't see them even reaching that level, let alone enough to break a record.

Be fun to try though.

The Chiefs could compete with Seattle. But I don't think the Chiefs nor the Seahawks will beat 131 DBz. It was set in Galatasaray. The soccer fans are insanely loud there.

We really picked the wrong game for this. Would make more sense to try it during a home playoff game, whenever that may be next.

Only way for Arrowhead to get it is to have a successful year along with Oakland/Denver. Then, the game the next year, after the hype's been established and validated to a degree, needs to occur with both teams continuing the hype train.

Even if they're the loudest stadium in the NFL right now, I still don't think they'll get the world record.

Loudest I've ever heard it was during two punt returns. The Vanover OT return vs. San Diego and Hall's return vs. Denver. I don't think the noise was close to 131 decibels though.
