What if we call in and say " I want to talk about how drafting Joeckel is the worst decision this organization could make since hiring Scott Pioli".

or "I want to talk about how Matt Cassel is a franchise QB" and then just **** them over and talk about Geno.

You sure can do that, but they certainly don't make you don't. Let alone make it you fax in a rough draft.

BTW. Does anyone who says that Matt Miller went from the biggest Geno supporter to Joekel ball washer know when that change happened? I have a theory based off of his interview on 810 today. Would love to see if it holds any water.

Also, didn't he used to claim to be a former NFL scout?

Nevermind, I had a reading comp fail when I initially read your post.

As to your question, it was a couple months ago when Miller hopped off the bandwagon and I'm not sure if he served as an NFL Scout but I do recall someone saying he worked in personnel.

Forget the radio anyway. There's also social media and furthermore, SEVERAL of us discuss this in work and social circles EVERY DAY.

You can plug your ears and pretend it isn't happening bit it is.

Outside of the message boards (which generally house the hardcore fans), Alex Smith is FAR AND AWAY the most popular choice.
It is true. Chiefsplanet is an aberration. Alex Smith is the guy kc homers want. Almost anybody but Geno, tbh.

Miller's 180 happened about the same time as Shawn Zobel started "guaranteeing" that Albert would not be re-signed.

Sorry.
No, we are talking about the general fanbase and more specifically about radio callers.

I still think everyone is getting WAY TOO heated right now. The combine hasn't even happened yet.

Just chill. Cam Newton was a 3rd round guy at this point his draft year.

If we don't take Geno, I guarantee we're not letting Albert walk to draft Joeckel. That just doesn't make any sense.

You must remember, we're the Chiefs...draft "experts" and talking heads don't pay us any attention. They probably don't even know Branden Albert exists...and if they do, they certainly don't realize he's an above average LT.

I realize it's a super slow board time so debates kill some time and waste some energy but we're all losing a lot of sleep over this for no reason.

Wake me up when the combine is over and Geno still isn't in the picture (not that's he's not in the picture right now)

Pretty sure the "Ponder" year no one expected all of those QB's to land top 15 the way they did...

the old ways of thinking are still quite relevant with the "draft experts"...they don't realize with the slotting system teams without a QB are just going to draft the BQBA reach or no reach because everyone knows you need a QB to win...

everyone but "draft experts" apparently

Shit...the best 3 QB's from that ridiculous run of QB's are Cam Newton, Andy Dalton and Kaepernick and the latter were like QB6 and QB7 from that draft.

which just so happened to be early, early 2nd round...

so yeah...

I bet there are 4 QB's taken in the first 20 picks. At least. Probably 5.

Wait, so if the combine happens and Geno IS in the picture, you want to stay asleep?

In that case, you may as well kill yourself now.

Well I have seen Alex Smith go into the playoffs. I have yet to see Geno play in the NFL but so many of you are blowing him.

One makes more sense than the other.
