Official 2012-2013 NBA Thread

Looks like James Harden has been To the Rockets for Jeremey Lamb, Kevin Martin and future picks. Plus... this is a general NBA thread.

Not really, there's still great talent there and great coaching. Tom T is a top 5 coach.

Most of the hotels in Bricktown are pretty pricey. Lots of affordable hotels on Meridian near the airport. They are about 15 minutes away from the arena. I sold my tickets to the Celtics game before the season began or I would meet you for a drink or something. The resale value is so good on Lakers and Celtics games I can't resist anymore lol.

Outside of Noah who is the great talent? Boozer and Gibson are above average the rest is just ok. I just don't like their offense they have a hard time scoring and are near the bottom of the league in scoring.

ok, Thunder are going to have a tough time beating the Spurs. They're a damn machine, and IMO, Pop is the best in the NBA right now.

They were the last 2 years as well. For some reason they haven't been carrying it to the playoffs recently, but always a very dangerous team. I would give them the best odds of dethroning the Heat still.

They do seem to run out of gas late, but if anyone can keep them fresh and doesn't care how he has to do it, it's Pop.

Whelp. bring on the draft. Kinda sucks we didn't get Speights traded... really hope that means he plans on resigning with Cleveland... Was a great guy to trade for and we've been a lot better since.. hate to see him walk away for nothing.

That's what I thought last year because we had hardly beat them at all. Ever since they made the Thabo on Parker change OKC is 5-1 and that loss was a buzzer beater. Our athleticism gives them issues. However, Pops and Brooks couldn't be a bigger mismatch.

As much as I want to see OKC vs. Heat in the finals, I can't deny the greatness of the Spurs. I just don't think ANY team can beat them 4 times out of 7.

They aren't struggling with the Clips athletes tonight, but offensively the Spurs are just damn near perfect in terms of efficiency tonight.

I'm afraid the Harden loss will show it's head in the playoffs more than the regular season when defensive intensity really kicks up. It sucks, cause I'm actually a pretty big Thunder guy (Spurs fan too).

There is a free spot hidden that is always available an hour or 2 before tip off.its right across the street from the parking garage that is built on to the arena on shields. There are two pay lots there but if you go under the underpass there is free parking. If its full there is a parking garage on Sheridan that is $5. There are a lot of options that are less than $10.

I played against Ronnie Brewer in high school. He had a weird shot, we called it the chicken wing shot. But he could ball thats for sure.
