No biggie... he's right, if you are a team that is .500 or better OR if you're a team that *should* be .500 or better and you're playing a bad team like Cleveland, then YES, you're supposed to beat them.
Denver is 3-3, with 173 PF and 137 PA Cleveland is 2-4, with 85 PF and 131 PA So, looking at that and considering the game is in Denver ... Denver *should* win. Denver will score 30+ points on Cleveland, and Cleveland could score 20 - 23, unless they get down early and allows Denver's defense to frustrate them into making stupid penalties and turnovers. Cleveland has a somewhat decent offense right now. If Travis Prentice gets going early, gaining great yardage and gives Couch time to work, then Denver could have their work cut out for them. However, I see Denver winning this 34-20. |

What the #@$% are your saying...They 'should' win. Of course they are going to win. You don't even have complete faith when Broncos are playing a team like that. Are you sure you're a fan? |

They *should* have won vs. KC, they *should* have won vs. New England. They didn't. Brad is very realistic, not the blind homerism that plagues the other Denver faithful on this board. He's careful with his words for very good reason and it's benefited him in the long run. Might I humbly suggest the adoption of a similar strategy for fans such as yourself? |

BroncoChicVance,
Whoever you are ... leave me alone. You are pathetic. You serve no purpose on this BB or in life. You disgrace true orange and blue Bronco fans around the world. Pull your head out of your a$$, create a well thought out statement, compose it nicely and in a manner which might prompt a thought provoking discussion for a change. I'm not implying you have to be *nice* to everyone on the BB, but you and a few others add nothing to the value of the topics around here. Get a life. She is just in love with Elway. Give her a break... Sorry sweetie, he plays for a different team now. By the way, MHM, very astute and accurate observations, I am impressed with your knowledge.

No worries ... VanceChic is just a freak.
Playing in two fantasy football leagues make you learn very quickly about what's going on with damn near every team. |

"...not the blind homerism that plagues the other Denver faithful on this board."
I love this type of rhetoric. Its as if the Chief fans are a bunch of Walter Cronkites when it comes to Elvis and the gang. Etch it in stone, Denver will win the AFC West, which means, by obvious extension, that they'll finish above the 8-8 Chefs. |

Donkey Drew-
You had better hope that the Broncos win the AFC West, 'cause KCTitus has no doubt saved this bit of "homerism" and will paste the crap out of you should your fearless prediction prove less than accurate [as do most of your predictions on the BB, as Fate would have it]. xoxo~ gaz has to concede the possibility, with that Charmin schedule.
|

One needs to look no further than the Denver/KC game to get an idea of the other 'stone carvings' of our very own Donkey Drew:
On the keys to the Den/KC game: You're underestimating Denver's D. - Would that be the one that gave up a 10 pt lead in the 4th quarter? * Denver has two 1,000 yard receivers in Smith and McCaffry. SlyMo has a lot of work to do to get mentioned in the same breath. Has Gonzo done diddly squat this year? - Gonzo after being quiet the first 3 weeks put up a buck 27 on your vaunted D. The KC receivers combined for 2 TD's, the vaunted 1000 yd receivers combined for 1 TD. * You're underestimating Denver's O. - would this be the same offense that failed to score three times inside the 5 yd line of the Chiefs? . Denver's D is, at the very least, adequet to win against virtually anybody. - We wont bring up the NE game. Just a sample from the ol' db...25 entries of sound 'stone carvings' from the master.
|

Titus:
I am personally shocked at how bad the Denver D really is. However, they were pretty bad early in each of the previous three seasons and steadily improved. Let's see the whole painting before we judge the work. As for the offense, KC hardly held them in check. You're fortunate that Griese didn't play and that the Broncos happened to make their biggest mistakes at the worst possible moments. The O will finish top five. I'm glad y'all only won by a point. You'd be insufferable if you had actually outplayed Denver and kicked their butts. |
