Very nice and professional sounding demo. I like the songs though I would not consider you guys to be southern rock (nothing wrong with that either way).
Good sound. Singer has a good voice. You ever heard of The Benji Davis Project from Baton Rouge, La? |

That said, I hate it. I wouln't repeat listen to it even if you gave me free disks to hand out. You are talented people but putting nothing into your music that I can relate to or want to. 20 years later why would I want one of your singles? I'd guess most of you could get laid at any frat party based one pic. That party also wouldn't play your music if you weren't there. And I don't say this out of spite, you are clearly talented, but what can that song give me that I can't hear on the radio right now? Whatever "that" is would be what you need...

I'd second that I question the Southern Rock label. That being said you guys are good. I think the One song everyone is referring to is Birthday at the Beach as it's the 1st song that played when I opened the page (this may not be the same for everyone).
Birthday at the Beach: reminds me of John Mayer (that may be good or bad for you). You sound great. I can see where Rausch is coming from, the music fits in today. Does it stand out as something far different and unique? No, but is that really necessary or what you're looking for. |

I'm 50 years old. Not a good judge of what's popular today. I can tell you, this is not southern rock, not really close. You guys are talented. I honestly mean no disrespect, your music is bubble gum, it will likely attract the bubble gum crowd. If that's what you're reaching out to, cool, go for it and have a blast. To be honest, there's no soul, ya gotta have soul. I only listened to one song, I'll go back and listen to the rest. I want to repeat, you guys are talented, but you have to reach down inside. For the record, this isn't even close to John Mayer.

I come from a metal backgroud where its SUPER hard to make it, this is much more marketable and the drumming is more groove oriented. So the fact it is marketable is defienetly a complitment cause thats what we were aiming for. The whole southern thing im guessing is coming from the band name but make sure yall listen to the leads and solos if anything thats what we consider southern, but for the most park we consider ourselves acoustic/rock/funk.
