I get married, have sex for the first time and the Royals win my first game back from vacation! What could be better? How about two wins in a row against Baltimore, which should rank high on your list of shittiest cities in America. I mean, have you seen The Wire? They made a whole TV show about the shittiness of that city.

I have no problem with David Lough. On any other team he would be fine as an everyday RFer. But fact is, this team is terrible at slugging.

Hence the reason I wanted to see Ibanez or anyone slugging .475 or higher.

Only hope is rattling off something like 10 straight or taking 17 of 22.

But its the Royals, so we will probably win until the trade deadline, then lose 8 straight.

We've never even won 15 of 20 at any point in Dayton's tenure.

That's why I've been clamoring for a guy like Ibanez. This team can slap singles and run pretty well, but we don't have enough guys that can clear them. Insert Ibanez and his 24 hr's, and this offense can go on a tear.

M's have said not selling. In same boat as Royals only a .5 game behind Royals in wildcard race.
