F,

Review your statements and look at fees for additional receivers and leased recievers. I think my situation might have been isolated but they were billing me for 4-5 receivers we never had in the house. Once I started looking at old invoices online I realized it's been going on. The lady on the phone was super nice and said, "oh shit" about 3-4 times. Apparently the guy who installed everything in our house double booked our receivers into the system.

But what of John Cena? Having endured one of his darkest hours, The Cenation Commander-in-Chief must regain his footing to march along on a journey that may not include the WWE Championship, a WrestleMania XXVIII showdown with The Rock, or WWE at all, assuming The Chairman keeps his word. Whatever lies ahead, it will all happen on a permanently altered WWE landscape with no CM Punk, no WWE Championship, and perhaps no John Cena – a vision that none might have ever believed they’d ever, ever see.

I actually thought Cena was pretty bad tonight. Bad as in sloppy and apparently out of position on a lot of Punk's moves. He almost destroyed his own knee because of it.

But all that said, I didn't think it detracted from the match at all.

Every match had botched moves. That's the point with John he just bull rushes everything at times. Tonight was more old school grappling at first.

Rebranding Cena might not be a bad thing.

I hadn't heard this, but it could explain a lot.

My friend was reading me something that said no one backstage other than Punk, Cena, Vince & Johnny knew the finish and that Del Rio wasn't notified until after the match started. I don't have a link, but that's what he said.

Wasn't that the story at ONS in '06 with RVD vs. Cena? The rumor was that the original finish was Cena over RVD with some interference (or some sort of finish where Cena retained) and supposedly, after the show started & the fans were so crazy that they basically had no choice but to let RVD go over.

Either way, I'm still freakin' stoked with what they did and can't wait to see where they go from here. Even though I'm a huge Punk mark & that's a big part of my excitement, the ladder matches were good and I enjoyed the finish to Orton-Christian. Certainly enjoyed it more than the past two WrestleManias and it's one of the best PPVs in a long while.

Yeah, that would be pretty much what I'd expect. They weren't going to risk spoiling the end of this one.

Here's the details from a recent Observer:
Quote:
There are some changes within the writing staff when it comes to structure. Brian Gewirtz and Michael Hayes’ positions have changed from being head writer on Raw and Smackdown to being a layer above the head writer position. Instead of primary being on Raw and Smackdown respectively, Gewirtz’s role is to give ideas and set up the big picture direction for both shows and transmit the ideas Vince and Stephanie have for what they want on the show. Hayes’ new role is to be the guy who also gives ideas for both Raw and Smackdown, but also is the guy who explains to the agents where they are going with things and gives them their orders and what key things have to be included in the television matches. David Kapoor (Ranjin Singh) is now head writer of Raw in the sense he and his staff put together the scripts for the show and Kapoor is the actual writer. Ed Koskey has the same role on Smackdown. They report to Brian Gewirtz, who reports to Stephanie, who reports to Vince. One person noted to is, “it’s just another level of bureaucracy that will make getting a good idea approved even harder within the dysfunctional division.” Hayes as head of the producers and the guy giving them their basic framework of where to go with the matches is the position John Laurinaitis used to hold. Hayes will also work with Vince and HHH on the big show major finishes, but he’s no longer the guy directly pitching the Smackdown show to Vince and Stephanie. Basically, when it comes to creative, Vince is the boss, Stephanie and HHH are the level below him, Hayes and Gewirtz are the level below that, and Koskey and Kapoor are the level below that. One person familiar said Kapoor and Koskey’s promotion really only give them more headaches and pressure and while it looks like he has more power, the belief seems to be more it’s a sign that they consider Smackdown more of a secondary show than before. The feeling is Hayes can be best utilized in coming up with ideas for both shows so that is considered a positive.

Hayes in Laurinaitis’ old position of being the head of the producers (agents) when it comes to television, also assigns what agents are to do what matches. Developmental has been taken away from Laurinaitis and put in the hands of HHH as far as who is in charge of the system, although Laurinaitis is also involved in that mix. While for months people have expected widespread changes, thus far nothing is all that different. Scouting new talent was also under Laurinaitis, with Gerald Brisco being a key scout, and HHH is likely to take that over once he finds his own team. HHH has not been high on Laurinaitis, who is constantly compared to the Jim Ross era, and when you compare the number of stars brought in during the Ross era and the Laurinaitis era, it’s scary (that also goes for dropping OVW as a territory and less recruiting of major league star athletes). But there is a feeling that there is nobody around that can do Laurinaitis’ job, because Ross has a life outside of wrestling and doesn’t want it back, plus if they were going to replace Laurinaitis it would be a younger person. Laurinaitis at least spent several years working under Ross to learn the job before the move was made. Nobody has been trained by Laurinaitis to take over but clearly he’s lost power in some of the recent moves.

There are three pages of feedback to the observer already (more reaction that I ever remember seeing for any single show, including manias) and every single one of them is thumbs way up. I don't think I've ever seen any show, WWE, TNA or UFC (also reviewed on the site...) get this much universal acclaim. If the internet fan was the target, they hit it out of the park with Money in the Bank.

However, if you go to wwe's facebook there are a lot of Cena marks crying in their fruity pebbles tonight.

(The poll results so far say 86% liked the PPV - I wonder if the other 14% can legally vote)

Easily the best show I've ever been to. EVER. And I've been to about 250 wrestling shows. This shit was better than GBH V Night 2. Seriously.

lol at this. You clearly haven't worked in the wrestling business ever. This is totally standard for the majority of wrestling shows regardless of how big the show is. 80% of the time wrestlers don't know the outcome of their match, especially in title matches, until minutes before they go to the ring. You can discuss the match with the other worker and how many minutes you're getting for a while before the match but you won't know the result until right before you head out. This is the case in majors, indies, anywhere.

Sin Cara suspended

July 18, 2011

STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde (Sin Cara) for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.
Well. That explains that.

Or should I say "not well."
