He had a ton of talent at WR and only won one SEC game. He choked several times. Again, I hope he works out but, he was never good as a starter. He's hasn't shown he can win.

Other than his record what do you actually know about Tennessee?

A ton. I live down here in watch them a lot.

He had an all SEC LT in Thomas and three stud WRs (Patterson, Rogers, and Hunter). I saw him get yanked from the Vanderbilt game for sucking last year. He had Georgia on their heels year before last and choked. There is a pattern there. I worry that he played great as a third teamer because he had absolutely no pressure to succeed. He's a different player when he's the starter imo. Hopefully, he can grow up but, "clutch" isn't something that you can teach imo. I find it king of funny that some are so excited about him. He will probably fail.

Brady was 20-5 as a starter at Michigan, he just wasn't a sexy QB physically like Bray is now. One of the reasons I respect Brady so much is he WORKED his ass off to become the HOFer he is now. Not that others don't but he really wasn't good enough. Dude is as blue collar as it gets for the pretty golden boy he's perceived as now. Bray was 13-11 overall and 5-7 last year (5-9 against the SEC for his career). Not all his fault though I agree. I have high hopes for him.

Brady was actually quite good at Michigan. He just had the misfortune of playing for Lloyd Carr. Brian Griese was the incumbent his first two years, and then he had to fight like hell to keep Drew Henson off the field (they badly wanted Henson to start). And at the end of the day they just didn't pass the ball all that much so his numbers weren't as eye-popping as other guys. But he was in no way bad. He posted 60+% completion numbers his two seasons starting, had a 20/6 TD/INT ratio as a senior and ended his career with a phenomenal performance against bama in the Orange bowl (350+ yards, 4 TD). They ended top 20 both years he started, with bowl wins. At the end of the day, the guy was just a winner.

my point was that the coaching was non existent. Since you watched a lot of him in college, did you realize how different he had looked in college, and then in the pros?

I too watched a lot of him. I have liked him since he was being recruited.

He has a lot to clean up....but his potential, and skill set, is awesome.

The SEC defenses he went against in college were better than the 3rd string defenses he faced in preseason imo. He can throw the ball for sure. We'll see what he does in a year or two.

As for the coaching, he didn't want to be coached at UT. He was an immature dumbass. However, he does seem to have grown up a little.

It would be cool if he turns into something. It just seems very unlikely to me.

He was very immature, but had maybe the biggest shit show of coaches ever with Dooley and Co. He also did not have Da'rick Rodgers last year, he was suspended and transferred.

Of course its unlikely that he turns into anything special, he was an undrafted FA. The fact remains that he has more potential that this team has seen in a long time and seems to have matured some.

Also, no college defense is better than any NFL defense ever.

He didn't want to be coached. That part is probably true. HIS COACHING WAS INEPT as well.

His personality is very similar. Same Skill set. Not quite the quick release, but he has more mobility.
