What established NFL player, past or present were you the most wrong about..

....coming into the league in the draft?

Thinking about the debates about the crrent crop of rookies, it got me to wondering.

I have talked a few times about the fact that I was way off when I said, at the time, that I wanted no part of Drew Brees.

He's my single biggest...wrong.

Good or bad, who is your biggest?

Sure...if I were a GM...I'd always have a quality #2 QB in case of injury...but that dude was drafted because of his feet...not because he was supposed to develop into Dan Marino...I never understood that...

Yep...2002 was the year...the year they beat...CRUSHED Green Bay at Lambeau in the playoffs where Michael Vick put on a clinic...

I thought for sure he was going to be a superster...then he got hurt in 2003...the Falcons had a terrible year...they canned Reeves...and then they tried turning him into something he wasn't...
Well to be fair didn't he have a terrific year in 2004, taking them to the NFC Title game?

****y ****erson. After what he accomplished with the Virginia Vaginas I was really really surprised at how poor he played with the Pittsburgh Prolapsed Rectums.

Aqib Talib ... i didn't think he had the quickness or brains to make it at a high level in the NFL.

Dallas Tightend David LeFleur ... not that i loved him or anything but i figured that it wasn't worth it for the Chiefs to pay so much to trade up for Gonzo instead of just staying home and taking LeFleur. So i dont' know whether that is me underestimating Gonzo or overestimating Lefleur.

I realize that I didn't respond properly in this thread. I earlier mentioned a couple of busts that I thought were going to be good, but that's the opposite. Players who are good that I figured would be busts are probably limited to the first round, and I would have to say that Roethlisberger is high up there. I didn't think he'd be successful at all. Pretty much any workout warrior who rises quickly is a guy I'm going to assume will be a bust.

I had him rated as a good QB, but bad rapist. I was wrong on the rape evaluation.
