JC: What concussion?

I thought at the time that it didn't look like he hit his head:

Right. And that's why you don't ask the guys with concussions whether they should be allowed to play.

Right. Because there is clearly an accurate test for what constitutes a concussion.

We had a 28 point lead. I don't know if Charles in Charge would have made that much difference. 28 point lead vanished like a magician doing a disappearing act.

No excuse for our defense to collapse.

But Charles would have gotten us a few extra first downs in the second half. I'm pretty sure about that. And a few extra first downs was easily enough to make a 28 point lead impossible to lose.

The offense would have moved the ball at least a little more in the second half. They could have held them off. There's was also a goal line run that Knile wasn't quite fast enough to get into the end zone before the hole closed up. J would have been in. We settled for three on that drive.

Am sure we would have won with Charles but that is not what happened because he didn't finish the game. So we got nuthin.

Numerous of other things could have happened too so moot.

Ummmmm...... what? It would've allowed us to sustain longer drives as it has all year thus allowing us to hold out on the win regardless of how our defense played. Any team is better with Jamaal in instead of out of the lineup. Even Alex said that the throw to Knile Davis that should've been a touchdown wasn't rehearsed as much with Davis as it was with Jamaal.

Jamaal Charles 5.0 > Knile Davis 3.5 and Cyrus Gray 2.7.

If Jamaal had played the entire game, there's no telling the outcome. With him in the entire first half, it's actually very likely that we wouldn't have put up those 31 points.

If we could have somehow brought him back for the second half only, we almost assuredly would have won though.

It might as well have been Macy Gray out there.

Charles bailed out our overrated swiss cheese shit defense all season long with sustained 2nd half clock eating drives and conversions.

Without him on offense to be the workhorse we are left with an overrated defense and a garbage Bob Sutton.
