The Kansas City Chiefs have a new player -- Tyler Shoemaker. He's a receiver who entered the league as an undrafted free agent this season.
The run down on Shoemaker, via the Chiefs:
Shoemaker originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with theTampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012 before being released by Tampa Bay before training camp. Shoemaker was a four-year letterman at Boise State (2008-11) after redshirting his freshman season (2007). He played in 50 games (23 starts), recording 122 receptions for 2,031 yards (16.6 avg.) with 25 touchdowns. As a senior, he led the Broncos with 994 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns, and tied for a team-high with 62 receptions. The Meridian, Idaho, native was a three-time letterman in football and was named first-team all-state as a senior at Mountain View High School.
The first free agent signing was an offensive tackle named Steven Baker, the second one was defensive lineman Daniel Muir.
In other free agent news, quarterback Rudy Carpenter is said to have a workout with the Chiefs this week.

Ah I remember him now. I saw the name earlier, and it sounded familiar. But I remember him pretty well while I was watching a lot of Kellen Moore.

whats it with these Boise State WRs that they are borderline nuts? This guy was signed at the end of April by Tampa, then a few weeks later in MAY just ****ing leaves the team? and cites that he wasnt fitting in? And then gets no shot on any other team in any other camp the rest of the season, lol. He didnt even make it to spring weekend practices let a lone training camp.
