Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Denver has the most talented team in the division across the board. Best WR's, best OL, best QB, good TE group, good running game, best passrush, best secondary, will have the best LB's once DJ Williams gets back, very good Special Teams.

We have it all. And we are just going to get better as the season goes on. Bill Polian said that Denver's offense will be hitting on all cylinders by week 6 or so. The toughest part of our schedule is over and we were in every game we played against 3 playoff teams.
That is false. It is obvious to me the Chiefs have the most talent, but a piece of shit behind center is holding them back.

Why? AFC West games are usually dogfights and this year I expect no different. Quit listening to Knowshit, Denver is a very average team.

I don't think it will happen. Denver played some good teams and nearly won.
They were down by two TDs with 6 and 8 minutes to go in those games. The final score does not indicate how close the game was or wasn't in those games.

But here is the thing, the old Manning gets one of those two games where the opposing team played not to lose. He would have made one of them pay, if not both of them for playing not to lose. But he can't do that anymore it seems.

I have no idea what to expect really with Oak/Den based on recent years. Denver's receivers have had a number of dropped balls that were 'right where they needed to be'.

Also, Denver has had several nice long pass completions that were negated thanks to holding calls. Manning hasn't been perfect, but he's not horrific by any means.

They're starting off slower than they need to be and they are a bit inconsistent right now, that will improve with time. Anyone expecting elite greatness was and is crazy, IMO.

If they can fix what has been happening the first half of the last two games - they should be good, but we'll see how long it takes to fix those issues. They need to really get those 2 TEs more actively involved as well... Tamme and Dreesen can move the chains effectively, allowing the others to get open.

But what makes them so much better that they will "obliterrape" Oakland? Where do they hold such a distinct advantage? Keep in mind each has one victory over the same team.

Denver's defense by miles.

Denver did just get done with playing the NFL's best offense.

God Damnit, I am going to stop defending Denver. It doesn't feel right.

When it comes down to it, I don't think the offense is or will be Denver's problem. The defense sucks and that is the problem. Manning was supposed to come in and be able to overcome those deficits, but so far he hasn't really been able to be his old self and the defense is going to remain exposed as a result.

I am not sure what you have seen from Denver's defense to think that. Slightly better, but not by miles. Houston had two huge pass plays. Palmer will be trying those as well and I am sure get at least one to hit.

It was funny seeing Simms suck off his arm strength when he's talking over a replay of a duck magically tip off one guys hands and float into another reciever's hands heh.

He also threw it 52 times. He's not awful, but he's definitely not the Peyton of old.

ESPN should pay their fines for keeping the camera on Fox and Del Rio so long. I noticed that CBS and NBC were making a concerted effort to protect the coaches by cutting the camera away if they were berating the officials. Fox and Del Rio didn't do anything that other coaches around the league weren't doing.
