50 Beers to Try Before You Die

Thought the beer snobs here might like this article (and probably critique the hell out of it).

http://www.wisdeo.com/articles/view_post/2984
(CBS) You've heard of "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall"?

How about 50 to try before you die?!
Spoiler!

I live in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana. Selection doesn't extend much beyond you Bud, Miller, Coors, etc. So, when I'm in Houston I stock up pretty good. I'm still learning about beer myself, so I've been reading through this thread and picked up a lot of the beers I see you guys talking about that piqued my interest. I'll list what I bought, and would like recommendations on what to try first, what to let age....stuff like that. Any tips are welcome.

Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale
Boulevard The Sixth Glass Quadrupel Ale
Boulevard Double Wide IPA
Boulevard Reverb Imperial Pilsner
Boulevard Saison-Brett 2012
Ommegang Hennepin Farmhouse Saison
Ommegang Three Philosophers Quadrupel Ale
Ommegang Rare Vos Amber Ale
Lagunitas Lucky 13 Red Ale
Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale
North Coast Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout
North Coast Pranqster Belgian Style Golden Ale
St. Bernardus Abt 12 Belgian Abbey Ale
Dogfish Head Theobroma Ale
Great Divide Wolfgang Doppelbock Lager
Southern Tier Imperial Pumking Ale
Southern Tier Creme Brulee

And like I said, I also got to try Lagunitas Sucks on tap. Wonderful.

Nothing is really inherently "wrong" with doing what you did, it just makes you a low-life. Same thing with people who buy toys/video game consoles around the holiday time only to turn around and sell them.

Yea, I'm looking forward to that Pranqster. I'm likely going to try the Chocolate Ale tonight, and maybe one of the Lagunitas. I haven't had a bad beer from them yet. The Southern Tier Creme Brulee is for my wife...but I'll admit I want to try it as well.

The Old Rasputin is one of the best imperial stouts ever. I like Pranqster, but I like Old Rasputin much more.

I love both, but I found Brother Thelonius to be nice, but not worth the $4+ a bottle.

I'm still getting used to Stouts. I bought that one because I've seen it mentioned here. I figure if I'm going to like a stout, that will be the one.

There's a pretty big difference IMO in the taste of stouts and imperial stouts. I tend to like imperials better, but I also like boozier beers.

If you've never had any of those beers I'd say don't age a single one of them.

I enjoy both. (beer and the cake thing).

Choklat/Creme Brulee is very sweet. I think of it as dessert.

It's just a dick move, dude. You know how many Chiefs tickets people have given to me over the years? Hundreds. You know why? They know I'll make sure they go to a good home without selling them. I've never made a nickel on Chiefs tickets. I just give them away just like they came to me.
