While you are all pissing into the wind, let me clear up what the Baldwin enthusiasts are trying to say.

He had tremendous potential coming out of college as a ROOKIE and then due to a LOCKOUT and being out ALL OF TRAINING CAMP, and then the FIRST 5 GAMES, was still able to put up numbers that weren't far off of Denarious Thomas who wasn't a rookie, had a training camp and offseason under his belt, and didn't miss 5 games.
If you can't see why people around the Chiefs would be excited about what he can do with a full off season, OTA's, and a training camp, plus not being a rookie, then you are a blind idiot. I'm not sure what'll happen when the real bullets start flying, but it is obvious this kid has a chance to be better than Denarious Thomas. Only time will tell.

It's that simple. Thomas had to learn how to play WR when he entered the pros. What don't you ****ing understand about this? I'm not saying he can't play WR. I'm saying he had a very steep learning curve as a rookie. With very little experience thanks to the lockout, 5-game injury, and crap for coach/QB, Baldwin's routes are STILL probably better than Thomas'.

I'm not saying he'll be a better receiver this year. I'm still talking about just route running. That's it. If Thomas does put out better numbers than Baldwin, it will be by the grace of Peyton Christ himself.
