Pretty much. We just absolutely couldn't drop one against them.

Especially not in this fashion. This was just gut wrenching.

What about not putting Cain in right when he was going to lead off the next inning? He would've made the catch to end the inning and Ace would've come back out in the 6th with about 75 pitches thrown and the shutout in tact.

We have to pray and hope that Cleveland loses some games they shouldn't down the stretch. I think we have to sweep Texas now as well.

I pretty much felt like that was the turning point. If that catch is made who knows what happens in this game.

I would say Cleveland is pretty much in. Just based on the schedules we probably have a better chance of catching both Texas and Tampa than we do of passing them. We can take care of Texas ourselves and hopefully someone else takes care of Tampa. Cleveland is going to be playing teams that simply don't care.

Just don't see Moore, who has had a slow trigger finger in the past, canning his friend, after a season like this.

We technically need help to catch Texas. We're 4 back in the loss column from them.

True. The way they are playing that shouldn't be a problem though.

Agreed. Cleveland will be playing teams that are playing AAA callups the rest of the way. That's why i said we need them to implode a couple of games to these teams.

Which is basically unrealistic.

Tough loss, we let another one get away. Up 3-0 with the best bullpen in the majors !!!!!!!

We knew it was about time for the pen to lose one, too bad it was on the night Ventura showed his potential for the future.

We do have to win all of the Texas games now and hope that TB beats Texas. TB will lose some more with their schedule.

We can not lose anymore than 1, 2 games max the rest of the year and that has to come in the Seattle or Chicago games, not Texas or Cleveland.
