I watched this game today knowing we'd be playing Tampa next.
Man, are they in bad shape! On 3rd and 29 their OC calls a run up the middle! They didn't run any creative pass plays and they couldn't execute a screen to save their life. Alstott fumbled, and their vaunted D gave up SEVERAL long pass plays and a HUGE 50 yd running play up the middle for a TD! I think they need to get rid of their OC, DC, and STs coaches. King sure didn't look like the QBOTF either. What's that? It's only preseason? Luz nevermind...<P> |

Luz-Amazing, I saw it the same way!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed watching Bishop play as well. He shows flashes of brilliance in my book. I would love to see him get the opportunity to be an every down player and just see how good he is in two years. If I had him I sure wouldn't trade him for an EG! |

Kurt,
One thing we can both agree on is that Bishop looks like he might have a future. He has Ted White's arm strength AND the mobility to create time as well as become a running threat. I've always had him pegged as a Kordell Stewart type, but I could be wrong. It will be interesting to see how well he develops. Luz not too many qbs i'd trade eg for, especially not bishop... |
