If we do the first-round quarterback thing next year, I think there's a realistic chance that Hasselbeck is our QB for the next two years. His time in Tennessee is almost gone with Locker taking over, and we'll need a well-respected veteran to train Geno (or whoever).

I dunno. I think the writing is on the wall. And given what we're reading about Pioli being concerned about his public reputation, I can't imagine that he would take no action on this issue in the offseason. The quarterback issue is killing Pioli's reputation.
