On Monday afternoon the Chiefs will introduce John Dorsey as their new general manager. Slowly, the pieces are starting to fall into place with the front office and coaching staff.
For Andy Reid there are at least four obvious spots on the coaching staff that have publicly not been accounted for to date: offensive line, linebackers, defensive backs and special teams.
Offensive line – there have been three names attached to this job – Juan Castillo, former Eagles offensive line coach and defensive coordinator; George Warhop, last year’s offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns, and Tony Sparano, former Miami head coach and last year’s offensive coordinator of the New York Jets.
Linebackers – league scuttlebutt says that Gary Gibbs will be retained from Romeo Crennel’s staff to handle the linebackers.
Secondary – sounds like Emmitt Thomas will return and handle the defensive backs as he has for the past two seasons. Thomas and Reid just missed each other during their careers; Thomas was in Philadelphia in 1998; Reid took over as head coach in 1999. That year, Thomas went to Green Bay, where Reid just left.
Special teams – so far the only name that has escaped the walls of the Chiefs complex has been Dave Taub of the Bears. Plus, Kansas native and Buffalo special teams coach Bruce DeHaven has been mentioned as a candidate.
All the coaches that have been hired are scheduled to report to the team’s facility on Monday and Tuesday to begin preparations for heading to the Senior Bowl week starting next Sunday in Mobile.

Haven't heard that he has signed anywhere else. Anyone else have new info on the ST coach?
