Peters Suspended

One game. Per Andy.

Summary from Andy (paraphrase) : Best for organization. Talked to Peters. Difficult to do as I like Peters.

Pretty sure Peters is the first DB to make the AP All-Pro team his first two years in the league. Champ, Deion, Woodson, etc. didn't do it. Throw in the Defensive rookie of the year award and you have a monumentally talented player who is unversally regarded as an elite player in the NFL. He's worth an occasional headache.

And, lmao at posters on this forum using his tirade against Bob Sutton as proof of Peters' volatility.

Since when did anyone @ CP give a damn about Bob Sutton?

**** Bob Sutton.

I guess if I'd put an exclamation point at the end of that sentence, I'd be subject to a suspension as well.

One more thing, i don't care if he does a handstand during the anthem. I just want to see KC win a damn Super Bowl.

I got news for you if your wanting to go to the superbowl sometime. Its not going to happen with a player taking plays off and being all about themselves.

WTF is this crap?

Kelce's behavior? You fo realz right now?

Did Kelce throw a flag in the stands? Is Kelce yelling at coaches? Is Kelce taking plays off? Did Kelce run off the field with 2 minutes in the game?

How in the world can you compare their behavior and come away with the conclusion that they're even remotely similar.

This isn't about Kelce, and it's sure as hell not about race.

It's about an asshole that is infinitely talented yet chooses to mail it in every Sunday, while doing things on the field and sideline that embarrasses the organization and the owner.

Andy knew this about the kid when he drafted him, and it's his fault this shit wasn't reigned in well before now.

They aren't cutting Marcus Peters. Trade? Maybe, but even that is doubtful.

I think we can all agree that this is epically stupid and unworthy of response.

At the same time, if someone had said before last week's game the Jets would end up 13/20 on third down and the Chiefs would fail at a 3rd and 1 (really a half) because they went "deep" to Cam Irving, I'd say that's epically stupid and unworthy of response.

We cut Maclin. Dorsey vanished into the night. Why can't Peters be cut? This is some outside the box thinking! Why salvage value when you can blow the whole thing up and get nothing?!

Because Chiefs.

A couple weeks ago the possibility existed that the Chiefs would catch a break and get to face the Raiders without Cooper. Now, it's for certain that the Raiders get to face the Chiefs without Peters.

Because Chiefs...

He'll play nice and good his first season out of spite and then revert back into malcontent he truly is deep down.

This team can't get rid of this child soon enough.
