They gave him weapons.

The surest way to win with Alex Smith is to give him a defense.

To be fair AJ Jenkins was good the last few games and nobody was saying this team needs WR in the Colts game

It's about ****ing time, I say.

At least if they strike out, they didn't do it watching the ball go by.

This regime obviously could care less about medical reports, because they've done nothing but roll the dice on broken kids from the day they got here.

Hope it works out better than last year.
Just because these two guys had injury problems early in their careers doesn't mean shit. They've been fairly healthy for the past two seasons. And I rather have a GM that goes for the homerun every pick any day.

One of the scouting reports I saw was about him being able to play corner in the Lovie version of the old cover 2.

From what I've seen, that's what he fits best in, but he is a tweener.

Pretty much 180* from how we play.

I think Ford is a project in the sense that he isn't a well-rounded linebacker. We're going to need him to do more than just rush, at least eventually, so he's going to have a lot to work on (I think Reid even alluded to this last night after the pick). But he'll hopefully have some time, assuming Hali and Houston can stay healthy this year.
