I was pointing out the fact that his remarks were made in sarcasm and that he wasn't really praising Mizzou.

I made my original post after seeing that Nebraska was blown out by the Nittany Sanduskys to take over twelvth place in the Big Ten.

It works out okay, though. Given Nebraska's academics, they aren't likely to realize that finishing in 12th place in the Big 10 is comical. Math isn't their strong suit. This is likely because you can't wear giant styrofoam corn cobs on your head while taking math tests.

The institutions from Conference USA and the Mountain West are dissolving both leagues to create their own conference, college football industry sources told CBSSports.com.


The new conference will consist of 18 to 24 members and start in the 2013-14 academic year. It would not only have a conference championship football game, but also conference semifinals. Conference USA and the Mountain West would continue as is for the 2012-13 season.
