This guy built his own RV. Check it out.

It's a long article, so you probably should go to the link. But imagine an RV designed and built by a guy with lots of money and a desire to go anywhere, and who owns a company referred to as a "military-industrial toy shop".

The article meanders about without talking about the RV for quite a while, and it's not detailed enough at all, but it's still worth checking out. I like the fact that it can dispatch drones, for example.

That's my reaction as well. I guess that's why the top speed is low.

It also says that this thing is almost 26 tons and can climb a 45 degree angle, which seems like it would require some power. I recognize that's probably more about torque, though, right?

250HP is waaaay too low for 51,000 gvw.

I'd want at least 350.

I'll defer to the experts but half the pick ups on the road generate more power than that with sturdy diesel power plants...

It could handle way more than a standard RV but if you stick to the highway a regular RV would be fine.

I have thoughts of getting a touring bus when I'm a little older and just driving that bitch all over for a half year or so...

It seems like it does situational awareness great.

To a great extent, it probably depends on what you're using it for. In terms of traditional vehicle performance, it seems bad. But I guess if you're going to use it to go completely offroad out into the extreme wilderness, hunker down, enjoy life, and view hyena or polar bears or puffins at night, then it might be really good.

Meh.

260hp 6 cylinder?

And like Valiant said, nothing in there sounds THAT cool. The incineration shitter is kinda cool though.
