However, I'll reiterate that if this is for weed...
Everyone forgets that dude had "issues" in college too. He almost left A&M when Mike Sherman was there. He's been getting away with shit for a long time and not paying for his mistakes. This is the BEST thing that could have happened to the guy. He got caught. Tried to get out and failed and now he's paying for his mistakes, which is a new concept for him. Maybe he'll learn from his mistakes and be better for them and go on to have a long and stellar NFL career. The kid has all the talent in the world, the sky or the consequences of his actions are the limit. It's up to him to choose...

Yep. Folks here in Houston STILL talk about that game. LOL! What a game it was. If you're gonna have a playoff drought - might as well be after a game like that!

It was a FRANCHISE KILLER for the Oilers. They were never the same after that...Was part of the reason why the fans turned on them and Bud Adams and they left town. We all voted for a new stadium after they left - the Dome is still empty and Reliant ROCKS right next door every Sunday during Football Season.

Am I the only Bronco fan that sees this or something?

"At the moment, replacing Bradley is not the Broncos' greatest concern. Miller initially got sideways with the NFL drug policy when he tested positive several times for marijuana and an undisclosed amphetamine early in his rookie season of 2011."

4-2 worst case? Zero pass rush.

"The NFL flagged Miller for failing its drug test earlier this year. He appealed what he and his representatives figured was a four-game suspension. However the NFL did its due diligence in investigating the case and found Miller had other issues with its testing program the past two years and tacked on two more games."

Hard to jump back into the fire in week 7, likely an injury candidate. Sit out 6, pull a hammy, look to bounce back in '14.

Yup. I can forgive the pot use as (from what I've heard) there is a good chance that he smoked it during the lockout. It's still stupid, but understandably stupid. I find the "undisclosed amphetamine" to be extremely worrisome. It's potentially a much harsher problem and I hope he really has put this shit behind him.

Agreed. You caught a break with the schedule (as usual) getting your first 4 out of 6 at home.

If anyone can do it, Manning can. But I'd be worried about that defense on the back end. Of course you can say that about any team that doesn't get pressure on the QB. Also, with no running game in sight, Manning is gonna have to be Superman and spin it 1,000 times a game. The question is does fatigue set in and does he perform his usual act in the playoffs? I wouldn't count them out because of Manning but it is a blow when you lose your best player on defense for six games, without a doubt.

They will probably be eyeballing the kid pretty closely. One of his violations was a diluted sample, allegedly from over-hydration.
