Much to the chagrin of Proctor, the collapse of this team happened right after Marty was fired.

Firing Marty good move.

Hiring Gunther bad move.

What that Marty team needed was a competant, smart, coach who could make good field decisions and re-create a winning atmosphere without totally rebuilding anything. The collapse of Gunther's team over a two year period led to the signing of DV, the rebuilding of the offense, the downfall of the defense, and the current mess we're in now is a result of that.

This season is not over yet... We are at .500 and one game behind denver... We still have a great shot at playoffs if our coaches get their heads out of their butts...

Not many put much credit in the preseason but going 0-4 will eventually show what you really have during the regualr season.
