Just watched the last episode. Pretty intense ending. I figured Walt would kill Mike when he riled him up. I was like, 'holy shit! He's gonna kill Mike!'.

Interesting that he just got done promising Jesse nobody else dies.

Stupid was the fact that after all the lucky timing Mike had in getting his money just in time, he doesn't leave town!!!! These are the lapses in the writing that makes me upset. But you have to take the excellent with the lame I guess.

There hasn't been a reason to cheer Walt on for a while now. He's become an evil, egotistical piece of shit over the last few seasons.

Yep, Walt couldn't take the fact that Mike was exactly right about him and had been ever since they met. The truth was too much for his enormous ego to accept, so he lashed out in anger.

Mike had no reason to run. He had the money hidden away, the DEA was off his back (so he thought), and he was retired. If he ran, it looks suspicious. He was biding his time, enjoying his granddaughter.
