How can BC get beat up this bad already?

Two practice games and he's getting burned at the stake? He has 6 starts and yes they were all loses but it's common knowledge that the whole offense was awful. He was not great last night but he's out of the game before he gets a chance to bounce back.

You gotta give a young QB at least a season for that matter most of them get 3 before they are dubbed to be terrible. BC has had only 6 actual starts.

Cut the kid a break.

Everyone knew this was going to happen. At least I did. Croyle is going to have to play lights out this season for everyone to get off his back...and it's simply not going to happen. He's in his first season as a starting QB with a new offensive scheme for everyone, and an average O Line that will be as inconsistent as he is this season.

I compare this season to the first season that Trent Green came here. Nearly every Chiefs fan threw him under the bus, and mocked every move he made. Now, he is arguably one of the best QB's to play in Red and Gold of all time.

It's time to be patient, and non-judgemental.

I really think a fair comparison would be Drew Brees in '03.

Charger fans and the media knew beyond any doubt that Brees sucked.

It's a common theme these days with new, and especially young QB's.

We went through this same thing with LJ. Many were so enamored with Priest that they didn't want to give LJ a chance.

Uh, whoops.

There's no doubt in my mind that the Chargers at least GO to the Super Bowl, if not win it in Marty's last year, if Brees had still been there.

There's been a lot of lame ass dumbshits come through here, but you are by far the most lame and unoriginal.

At least NY58 was somewhat funny. you're just stupid.

Trent Green is "arguably one of the best QB's to play in Red and Gold?"

How many arguments are there against him being "one of the best?"

The Chiefs have had, what, like one and a half good QBs besides Green.

You damn him with faint praise.

I could also make the arguement that Trent Green was arguably one of the best QB in the NFL when he was in his hay-day. Whatever arguement you want to make is fine. THE POINT...was that KC fans were ready to give up on Green right away.

Donkey fans...

Next time you have a point (hell, it's possible, I guess) make it instead of letting us guess whether you have one.

Yeah, there's some idiots who will be bashing him if he doesn't throw for 300 yards against the Pats.
