Through episode 3 I find it pretty annoying. The main characters are just so unbelievably whiny.

1) Who from last season do we bring back to kill this week? 2) How annoying and irritating can we make those in power to be? |

Then we're given wonderfully intelligent writing such as the use of flamethrowers within 10' of a dwindling food source when the town is on the verge of starvation. At night. I was rooting for the Abbies to make it over the wall and eat everybody in the first episode.

I've skimmed the first 3 and haven't yet felt the slightest urge to pay full attention.

The first season wasn't all that interesting. Terrible writing. Terrible acting. Forced style. Repetitive. Interesting enough concept and I liked the fact that what seemed to be the "big reveal" came half way through; they didn't make us wait until the finale.
But I'd lost interest in it before S1 ended. Finished it, thinking it was a mini-series. Then cliffhanger. Have zero interest in a second season. For those enjoying it, I hope it continues to entertain. But this isn't my cup of tea. |

I admit I never watched the first season. I read a lot of positive comments about it so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll also admit it had a huge strike against it going in because I really really dislike Jason Patric as an actor. I quit watching half-way through this last episode and deleted it from my DVR record list. Nothing I can think of caught my attention at all (except how much I disliked Jason Patric's character).

This season isn't even a pale imitation. It's a bunch of people farting around on sets that have already been built because there's money left over and the lights are still on.

What the **** have they done to this show. Nazis? I am done. The show is to far gone. Twin Peaks vibe? Don't insult Twin Peaks.

When you listen to M. Night Shyamalan, Chad Hodge and Donald De Line discuss what they want to do in the second season you understand why is has no sense of direction. Some of their comments almost seemed to be so smug in nature about how they viewed the direction of the second season should go. After listening to them I have almost given up watching the remaining episodes. And honestly I agree with old geezer that Jason Patric is dragging this down all on his own. But honestly I don't see any real development in any of the characters....so it's hard to blame it on just him. |

The secretary at the cop shop, the tormented girl (should I say girl when the actress is pushing 50?) in Juliette Lewis, and the lost cop dropped in a small shady town. All clear nods to TP. I did like Citizen Dick's character arc. His progression from "WTF is going on?" to "Oh $3it, now I know what's going on and I don't know what to do." I'd say it's done well for a show that likely has the budget of "Falling Skies" and I enjoy it more. Despite Mah'Night ShallbeLong having his hand in it...
