Illinois didn't even finish .500 in their conference

When being considered for the dance, if you're under .500 you're automatically out of consideration, unless you win the conference tournament of course.

Colorado State is also superb at rebounding, so Mizzou doesn't even have an advantage in an area they usually do. Their possessions are going to have to be A LOT more efficient than they normally have been.

Which, yes, is impossible.

Would've rather been an 11 seed.

8/9 seed was the worst case scenario. If they play to their potential, they could beat all the way up to a 3 seed, so as an 11, they could've gone against the 3 seed they played then gotten a 6 seed in the next round.

As it is, they're 1 and done at best.

I'll probably thank for for this later. Mizzou earned this shit draw. **** the lot of them.

Mizzou could've easily been in the same boat, but their showboat pointguard, half-assed defenders and overmatched HC has them as dead men walking.

Believe me I know KU gets all the breaks because thats just the way it is. It just drives the knife deeper thats all. Sick of wallowing in misfortune and watching them ride in the sun at the same time.
