2012 Ryder Cup

All tied up after the morning foursomes on Friday. Some of the American players really shit the bed. This afternoon looks to be a different story with the American players coming out strong in the afternoon.

Love has some thinking to do.

I figure you play Kuch and Woods this afternoon, and let Webb Simpson and either Phil or Bubba rest.

But what the hell do I know.

I like Phil's comments during the interview....shows they want to play as a team and not individuals.

Simpson/Watson showing some life. 1 down with two to go, Poulter/Rose looking vulnerable. US leading in all other matches.

Rose/Poulter 1 up with 1 left...

Brandt Snedeker v Paul Lawrie
Match 6 1158 (1647)
Dustin Johnson v Nicolas Colsaerts
Match 7 1209 (1709)
Zach Johnson v Graeme McDowell
Match 8 1220 (1720)
Jim Furyk v Sergio Garcia
Match 9 1231 (1731)

I love watching the thing. There have been some very memorable moments/shots on both sides.

My favorite moment of all time will be Darren Clarke.

About 2:38 in, after he lost his wife to cancer.

Not really. It gets lost because of football season. It's fun to watch, though.

Obviously, it's a bigger deal for the folks that follow golf. The crowds were damn impressive lining every single fairway at Medinah. Props to all of the fans that have shown up to watch.

I'll be watching this today instead of football.

Then again, with a 10-6 lead the US might have this thing closed out before the late games start.

True, but it's barely a blip on the national radar.

Sirius/XM Golf station said the televised audience internationally was estimated at 500 million. Damn...that's a big draw.

I'm surprised that no one is watching....this has gotten tight. All tied up now.

Scratch that...US gets one today with Johnson beating Colsearts.
