huh? Why do they list Crist with no TDs?

He was accountable for like 20 TDs before getting hurt.

Maybe, and this is just a crazy theory of mine, it's because they only listed last season's stats, and Crist didn't account for any touchdowns in 2011.

Maybe it's because the writer hates Kansas, though. I don't know. I'm not a mind reader.

So a player who has decidedly better statistics than the three placed ahead of him gets dropped down below all 3 based on last year's stats?

Oh but wait, it's not last year for Crist because he transferred.

Makes sense.

Then again people picked KU basketball to finish 5th in the Big 12 and they got to the National title game.

KU loves making people look funny.

Crist might be an OK quarterback, but clearly this particular article takes in to account his surrounding cast.

The rankings take into account last season's production, what each player is expected to do in 2012 and the surrounding personnel.

What? The coaches picked KU and A&M to finish tied for first in the conference. Who the hell picked them 5th? The only people KU make look funny in football are themselves.
