We have two things to look forward to this year:

1) The potential beginning of the Maty Mauk Era. Mauk represents the best chance for this program to get back to a level of respectability after horrendous QB play cost us multiple games last year.

2) The last year of the Gary Pinkel era. Pinkel's entrenched cronyism won't play in a conference this competitive, especially if he couples his abysmal gameday coaching with lackadaisical, worst-in-conference recruiting. Pinkel was the formerly adequate meal that has now turned into a four pound bowel obstruction. It's time to jam a Fleet's enema up our collective asses.

Here is the schedule. We dodge Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas in the west and the Non-con is decidedly weaker than years past.

9/21: @ Indiana
9/28: Arkansas State
10/5:@ Vanderbilt
10/12: @ Georgia

10/26: South Carolina

11/9: @ Kentucky

Looks like 6-6. Undefeated in non-con, 2-6 in league play.

I will eventually update the OP with a list of high profile in-state recruits that decide to go elsewhere after a half-assed attempt to gain their services. The inevitable cavalcade of *** rejects, skeezers, skanks, and scalliwags we get will fill out the ranks.

Since every Mizzou thread eventually dies of AIDS, I recommend starting anti-retroviral therapy immediately. I believe Walgreens covers Express Scripts.

I need to do a little homework and find out where the ticket will be. The problem is since I'm getting it through being a student, I have to be the one to pick it up from the Georgia Dome, then I could sell it to anyone after that. So, I'm looking at the face value of I think $80, plus gas to and from ATL of about 400+ miles total, so off the top of my head, I don't think I'd be that interested at less than $300. The other thing is only grad students and maybe half of the seniors here qualified, so something like 75% of students here didn't get one and plenty will be looking to buy I'm sure, so the market may be better here, but it's hard to tell just yet...

JFC! Those uni's remind me of the test patterns from the old school T.V. days. Is there a link for the announcement of them wearing that uniform? I would like to read comments from A&M fans about those!

Wingo cancelled visit to Arky, visiting Mizzou instead. Very interesting development in that Wingo had wanted to commit previously but the staff had refused, due to Wingo wanting to continue taking visits.

Went to the game Sat. The Grove is amazing. 20+ acres of the most amazing tailgating I have ever seen. If you love college football you need to go once in your life. And women were all beauty pageant qual. Stunners everywhere. And of course the Tigers were fantastic. Just a phenomenal trip!
