*****Official 2017 NHL Playoffs Thread With Contest*****

I thought it would be cool to have a thread for the best postseason in sports, the NHL Playoffs.

Even though my Kings are out, I love watching the playoffs and wish the best to all of you with your teams.

Here's the link for the bracket predictor. https://bracketchallenge.nhl.com/leagues/chiefsplanet

The password is Lonewolf and I hope we can get some of you in there with a bracket. Enjoy!

Eh I'd go through two of those teams to avoid the ****ing Sharks

Blues are also a COMPLETELY different team since they rightfully dumped Hitch. 2 and 2 vs those teams and getting nipped at the end in both losses. Packed Nasvilles shit in. Point stands.

Including playoffs FIFTY FOUR points in 37 games.

Yeah, and FML for it. I get to root for the Chiefs of the NFL and the Chiefs of the NHL. Joy.

What big stars have they really bought? I'd say they more go after middle+ tier FAs, though they did sell the farm for Hanzal at the deadline (which I didn't agree with). They have awesome young talent, but lack a true bonafide scorer.

I won't disagree with any of that.

I'm just not sure any of the remaining three are great matchups.

Nashville is going to give us all we can handle. I don't see them being mentally weak like Minnesota is. Should be a great series.

This.

I love G7. Especially when I don't have the stress of rooting for a specific team.

Plus, I really want the STL/NSH series to start on Friday.

The Sharks are the Chiefs of the NHL. Almost always loaded with talent and almost always choke to a early playoff exit.

Matthews even makes a huge break look really impressive... how many left handed shots go near side over the shoulder on that?!

I can't even fathom the notion of the Chiefs winning the AFC.

And of course, the bracket site is down again. I can tell you that I'm at 53 points though (and Gadzooks is at 33) - my spreadsheet seems to be working.
