Her stepfather passed today at the game.

Mahomes’ girlfriend Brittany Matthews shed some light on the situation in a postgame Instagram post, explaining that her stepfather had died after collapsing outside of Arrowhead Stadium before the game.

After watching the mic'd up, I was thinking that. He didn't look distracted. Nice problem we have when a game like that, which is a solid game for most qbs, is viewed as one where we wonder what was wrong with Mahomes. Looks like the dude just had an off game, if you can even call it that.
