NFL.com poll: Which running back will lead the NFL in rushing yards this season?

Interesting poll. I thought Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson would dominate. But fans think someone else will lead the NFL in rushing yards. Maybe Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones combined can help the Chiefs have the number one running game this season, maybe top five. They've got a bad schedule. But I doubt one or the other will lead the league in rushing unless someone gets hurt early on and it becomes a one man show.

It caught me off by surprise that the 'other' choice out voted CJ and AP.

As of 8:00 AM CST

4%--Steven Jackson
26%--Chris Johnson
5%--Maurice Jones-Drew
25%--Adrian Peterson
10%--Ray Rice
30%--Somebody else

No predictions/bets until I see two or three preseason games.

For those saying that homers vote for their team; Yes, there are a lot of homers that will vote for the 'other' option, but the winner usually goes to the most appropriate player, in this case, CJ or AP. That is why it caught me off by surprise.

Denver should have a much better offense this year because everyone is in year 2 in the system.

So if he's much better, why are you scared to take the bet?

And Charles averaged more than 2 ypc more than Kno-show. He did in 100 carries what kno-show did in 200. He also had a worse line.

And I wish I was at my computer so I could post the gif of Knowshon getting blown up by Mike Brown. Yes mike brown. Rep if someone posts it. I know its in GoChiefs' gif'd up thread.

I just find it funny that KnowMo says Knowshon Moreno and then immediately backs down.

I'm not backing down. I don't know what the hell our offense is going to look like this year. I just want to see what we do in preseason before I make a sig bet. My sig kicks ass and I don't want to lose it.

No one knows what their team will exactly be like. That is the point of making a bet right now because no one knows. Fair game. Man up since you have nothing but positive things to say about your team.

Knowmo, you gotta give credit where credit is due, and how are you going to say you need to watch preseason first.... if McDaniels plans on using much wildcat he will show none of that in preseason (maybe a play or 2).

This isn't even that good of a highlight video, mostly just his long runs, but over half of them show him busting through arm tackles and breaking tackles with power and strength. I don't think any of us are saying he is LJ in his first starts as a Chief, but he isn't exactly a puss and goes down on first contact (ever really). Even after getting illegally suplexed (and after the whistle) by a mongoloid reerun, Charles came back in the game and gained more than 100+ yards rushing after that.

There I added Moreno highlights too. I'm not saying he sucks, he's a solid starter, but so is Charles.

Had to add this... (warning - loud, turn it down first)

edit:

I need to add that I am ****ing excited that we may have finally added an Ed Reed type player/hitter to our defense.

Hell, if anything you have the advantage. McD has to play his high paid RB, and the chiefs now have two viable starters at HB... Charles is going to split a lot of carries and yards. Honestly, you should take this bet now based upon that.

I want you to keep your sig as is for at least one more year so we can point it out everytime McDumbass continues to dismantle your team.
